He stands 15.3 hands tall. Chief is the whole package!! He is the kind of horse everyone is looking for and the kind of horse everyone wants. He is in the prime of his life !! Very Good Looking, Rides the best and is very quiet and gentle and safe in everyway!! What more could we want ? He is as close to bombproof as you will ever find in a horse. Chief is a great trail horse, he has been trail ridden all over! Anywhere you ask him to go on the trail he will go and never refuses or complains, he is a true trail horse deluxe !! He also rides very good in the arena and has a nice walk, trot, canter and Hits his correct leads each way. He would make a nice lesson horse, husband horse, beginner horse, kid horse , ranch horse or just a safe horse for anyone in the family wanting to enjoy a nice relaxing trail ride. Ride him once a year, once a month or once a week and he will stay good broke and ride the exact same each time. We have done some ranch work with him and he is very good at working with cattle. My favorite thing about Chief is how quiet and gentle he is to ride. He will teach a total beginning rider how to ride and or take a timid rider and help them build their confidence. He is one of the quietest horses I have ever had the privilege to own. He will trail ride alone or with other horses and he is trail and traffic safe.
