She spent the first few years of life training and showing in the low level dressage classes. After being hauled around the country and gaining the experience needed to be a youth suitable mount, she transitioned over to pleasure riding. Over the last five years, Elsa has been a teacher, while learning new things herself. Packing kids over small jumps, through trail rides, through hunter jumper courses and even being a mounted archery horse for a short time. As with all good Gypsy’s, she is very intelligent and grasps new concepts quickly and without a fuss.
On the ground she is quiet. She saddles, leads, and stands to be mounted. She also lays down with a lift of a leg to be mounted. She is clean legged, up to date on trims, coggins, shots, and is 100 percent sound. Elsa has had one stunningly beautiful foal. She is a great mother and is sound to breed. We are sad to see this one go, but we are also confident that her new owners will love her as much as we do. Her looks and experience make her a once in a lifetime mare!
