The young Lusitano was bought in Portugal, neutered and ridden. Shortly thereafter, a chip was detected, which was surgically removed. He was probably taken back into training too quickly afterwards. Unfortunately, the owner was in USA and had no idea about it. By the time she noticed it, it was almost too late, because they had tried to achieve a quick success with draw reins. She took him to a professional in Germany. He is doing quite well there, but is not a beginner's horse. It is still difficult for him to constantly walk and carry himself, especially in the transitions. However, an experienced rider can do this well with patience and feeling. Unfortunately, the owner can't take him with her to the USA. At the moment he looks more like a four-year-old under the saddle. A handsome horse who is very people-oriented and deserves a new chance.
